Hi, I’m Kayla — welcome to Riverhouse Acres.
If you told me a few years ago that I’d be living part of my life on the road, sleeping under new skies every week, I probably would’ve laughed. But somewhere between chasing the next adventure and craving a simpler rhythm, I found myself drawn to the RV lifestyle — and I’ve never looked back.
These days, life looks a little different. My mornings might start with coffee by a river or birdsong outside my window instead of city noise. I’ve learned to fix leaks, map routes, and find beauty in unexpected places. And through all the bumps, flat tires, and wrong turns, I’ve also found a deeper sense of peace, purpose, and gratitude.
This blog is my place to share the real parts of that journey — not just the pretty views, but the lessons, experiments, and little victories that come with building a life that feels true. I write about the gear that actually works, the places that surprised me, and the people who made the road feel like home.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that life doesn’t need to be perfect to be full. It just needs to be yours.
Thanks for being here and sharing the ride with me.
— Kayla
