Penny Chic

Sydne from the blog Sydne Style is back on Penny Chic as a model and what a fabulous model she is! The outfit truly compliments her, but it took me a second to put it together.

I’ve been wanting to style these Old Navy khaki shorts into an outfit for some time now. They’re a great piece to have in the summer and happen to only be $6.99! Shorts like these can tend to look masculine and butch, so if you’re looking for something a bit more feminine, you have to think creatively about how to piece the outfit together.  I opted for a bright yellow sweater shirt and a bright orange over the shoulder bag. The citrus colors compliment the army green and the nude pumps are just neutral enough to keep attention towards the pops of color. To top off the look, I accesorized Sydne with rhinestone and metal jewelry to add an extra girly punch to offset the shorts.
