Mondays are never fun unless you’re taking a day off like in the pretend world of this photo. What would you be doing right now if you were?

The most important thing I can tell you about this outfit is that the dress is both extremely comfortable and extremely flattering. My model, Hilary, decided to buy one online as soon as we finished the shoot. It comes in three colors! At first I thought this would be the kind of dress where a belt was necessary, but the dress lost it’s casual flow with the belt. I instead opted for clunky jewelry around the neck and wrist.

  1. I love this dress and Walmart has a similar one in the plus size line Just My Size. Please add some plus size models because Walmart has clothes for all sizes.

  2. I really like this!! You’re right about this dress sans the belt. Looks better when you can see the drapery of it. And, maxi dresses are very forgiving. Hilary is very photogenic:-)!

  4. I have a question. I love this dress but I am rather petite! I am 5’3″ and 110lbs. Its hard for me to find maxi dresses I don’t need to tailor. What do you think about the length and fit for a petite gal?

  5. Brittany–I personally think you are in a better position being petite and wearing a maxi dress. maxi dresses make us shorter gals look taller! I always wear them with platforms or wedges because they’re always too long for me too. Wedges are even more comfortable than flats for me anyway. Try it out…
