COWGIRL WITH A TWIST CHIC
It’s a no brainer to call today’s post one of “Shauna’s Picks”! Don’t you love it? That’s in large part because of the excellent photography by guest photographer Todd Wilkinson. (And maybe my styling a fab model had something to do with it too!)
The neon green clutch against the blueish and beige tones of the outfit achieves the POP OF COLOR trend made so popular this Spring. To pull this look off, you have to have a certain amount of attitude and spunk, which our model Beau has plenty of! Are you guys wearing denim jackets these days? They seem to come in and out of fashion every 5 years or so, but this season they’re back! You shouldn’t have to spend more than $22 or so on a jean jacket. This one costs $18 from Kmart and does the job perfectly!

I’m not a jumper person (it’s a bit inconvenient in the bathroom, no?) but it looks cool. I love the bag – that and the clutch in the last post are super cute. I will go to Target and measure the dimensions to see if it can fit my computer nicely- that would be a cool computer bag!
I absolutely love that jumpsuit! My aunt recently sent me one that ended up being too small, and somehow I fell in love with it and now I NEED one. haha

Ummmm no…… this does not do it for me at all. I live in Texas, cowgirls to not dress like this at all and the boots would be laughed out of the state.

Amazing you read my mind. I bought that bag yesterday because I just loved it, and it is a cross-body that is big enough to carry all of my stuff around. But I was wondering what in the world to wear it with. I’m not sure I will go with a jumper, because of my height they never fit correctly, if you catch my drift, but the jean jacket with a neutral underneath is a wonderful idea.
Love the jean jacket and the boots are cute but not loving the jumper. This is not a figure flattering style on anyone. Some trends are worth tryinig out and others are not worth it. The jumper trend is not for me. I’m also not a fan of neon but I rocked it in 1985 when it was originally cool. Now jean jackets are always a trend I will embrace. Love it!
