It’s times like these when I’m reminded of how lucky I am to have such supportive family, friends, and readers! Thank you for the outpour of love and support since yesterday! Since most of you have purchased or are about to purchase your Penny Chic dresses (right!??), I thought it would be helpful to get some tips from the experts on how to style each of the LBDs! You may recognize the 5 gorgeous girls above, because they’re all talented style bloggers who also happen to be supportive friends sporting my dress line. These five blogging beauties (starting from left to right), Samantha of Could I have That?, Sydne of Sydne Style, Grasie of Style Me Grasie, Julia from Gal Meets Glam, and Jacey from Damsel in Dior have taken on the challenge of styling a Penny Chic LBD using their own accessories and unique taste to show us how they WOULD wear it! This was such a fun collab and I’m so impressed by what these five fab fashionistas came up with!

Check out Samantha’s blog to see how she styled the Curvy dress.
Check out Sydne’s blog to see how she styled the Peplum dress.
Check out Grasie’s blog to see how she styled the Utility dress.
Check out Julia’s blog to see how she styled the Skater dress.
Check out Jacey’s blog to see how she styled the Classic dress.

  1. Congrats, Shauna–what an amazing accomplishment!! All of these blogger models look gorgeous! I love the Utility dress; the sleeves & pockets are a perfect touch.

  2. I love this post! I got to see how the Skater dress looks paired with opaque tights (like the fleece-lined ones my awesome mom just sent for my birthday), how it looks on someone with a build similar to mine (NYC Recessionista), and how the Curvy looks with a BABY in it! How cool is that!?

After a couple of years of not being able to buy new clothes at all (when I say at all, I really mean it) I’m just now starting to replace my worn out and out-sized things, and doing my best to only purchase good quality. I don’t equate Walmart with quality (from experience, not reputation) but have read a great deal over the past few days about the effort and care you put into making your LBD line as high quality as possible. I’m trusting you on this one and have ordered the Classic, Curvy, and Skater in medium. If I love them as much as EVERYONE who’s worn them EVER seems to (!!!) I’ll most likely buy the Utility as soon as it comes out.

One question, though… What are those adorable pockets on the Utility like with something IN them?
