SPRING IS HERE, AT LAST!

This may be the longest, most photo-heavy post in the history of Penny Chic! And with good reason…as of yesterday, Spring is officially here and sweaters like the one I’m wearing in this outfit will start to just become comfy add-ons to your warm weather outfits. What an idea, right!? Truth be told, there’s one other reason this post happens to be a bit more, well…ME-centric… My boyfriend took the photos, because my main photog, aka my mom, has been abroad for the past couple of weeks. So now we can officially put me in the category of annoying personal style bloggers who use their boyfriends as photographers! Let’s take a closer look (or 10) at the outfit…

I found this dress at Forever21 and was so pleasantly surprised to find a silhouette there that was classic, almost Audrey-esque, and in a material that felt structured and sturdy. Don’t get me wrong, I lOVE me some Forever21, but I find that the dresses are usually made from thinner, flimsier material… This one feels luxury!

The fuzzy beige cardigan is a nice piece to throw on top of a stiff dress like this to make it a bit more casual and low-key.

This necklace from Sole Society has been in rotation for a while now. I absolutely love it! The blush-colored flowers make the statement piece more feminine and soft, which is what this look is all about!

What are you most excited to start wearing now that it’s Spring!?

  1. The necklace is sold out. Do you know if there is a similar style at a different store?

  2. Love that dress. I really love that it is a dress that looks like two pieces. Goes great with the necklace!

Can someone else please provide feedback
and let me know if this is happening to them too?
This may be a issue with my browser because I’ve had this happen before.
    Thanks
