Penny Chic

For my third “Something Borrowed” piece on Hello Giggles, I ventured to my granny’s closet to stakeout my next clothing victim. Instead of taking the easy way out aka a brooch or ring, I went for the thing we fear most in fashion….the mumu. Every grandma has one and after trying this one on, I can see why! They’re super comfortable! In order to make the nighty work for me, I belted it to create a waist and paired it with a khaki green army vest to give the look some edge. Would you have ever guessed this was a mumu nightgown? I think not!
