“SET THE SCENE” GIVEAWAY!

**Congratulations to Megan, our winner of the “Set the Scene” Giveaway! We loved her imaginative answer and how she set the scene for the outfit. Here’s what she had to say:

“If I had my dream trip, this would be the perfect outfit for it! Boarding a mammoth cruise ship with my besties to head off for a week long trip to the Caribbean! Comfy for a trip, but chic enough to get people’s attention …and maybe even a spring fling. These stylish sunglasses are a must on the perfect, bright and sunny day that it is, and the bag is perfect for storing everything from a book to read by the pool to anything you didn’t want to check in your baggage!”

We loved ALL your responses–thank you for sharing!!! Shout to our runners up: Charmaine, Carrie P and Laura!

  4. I would wear this to backyard bbq or for a day of shopping with the girls. It is seems so comfortable and stylish all at the same time! The slit on the front of the dress gives it a little something special, and the purse and shoes fit perfectly with it. This outfit really could anywhere, and would become a spring/summer staple in my closet!

  8. Where I live, there are concerts every Friday in the summer. They are on the river, the sun sets, wine in hand, and that red striped dress is PERFECT. Slightly nautical but casual and fun! That would definitely be a riverside show stopper!

This outfit is so cute and airy! I know exactly where I would wear it. This weekend is my fiance’s birthday and I am taking him on a Chocolate walking tour of Boston. I can just imagine strolling down the beautiful cobblestone streets of Backbay, visiting all of the cute chocolate and pastry shops on the tour, and tasting all kinds of chocolate confections in this outfit. It’s so flattering that, even if I ate more chocolate than I wanted to admit, it would still look good, haha.

  11. This outfit would be perfect for my fiance and I’s mini-vacay to the Oregon Coast. I could stroll all the touristy shops in comfort and stash my purchases in the large bag. Then when we check out the beach it would be perfect since it’s longer what with the ocean breeze and as it’s still not super warm on the coast yet.

I would wear this for an incoming weekend out with my husband, and then all the pieces are so versatile and stylish that I could mix and match items through the summer for zoo dates with my kids, and lunches with friends. Thanks for your posts, I always look forward to them.
