SEARS FOR SPRING CHIC
As you know, I’m a big fan of any store that provides everyday women with fabulous clothes that don’t break the bank. It’s like having equal opportunity to affordable fashion–and I’m ALL about that! Sears is one of those retailers that shares my same sentiment, so I was delighted when they chose me to curate 10 of my favorite Sears items for under $50. Check out my picks on the SearsStyle homepage and tell me what you think! Which ones are your favorite?
In order to really bring the items to life, I’ve styled 5 of my 10 picks in an outfit (modeled by me) for under $115, including accessories! The end result is a chic nautical inspired ensemble that I’ll definitely be rocking this Spring/Summer. What are your go-to staples for warm weather?

Hey Shauna,
Any thoughts?
I love that dress! However, as a curvy person myself (on top and bottom) it seems counterintuitive to wear wide stripes like that. Seems like it will just make me look wider.
This outfit may be perfect…I feel like you put it together specially for the weather we’re currently having in LA! LOVE IT! (and I’m waiting to hear the answer to Jessica’s good question)
I MUST get that tote. It is so cute and just completes the outfit. I too am “fluffy” so I don’t wear wide stripes, but I really like the dress.
I must get to Sears!
Nice job with the styling!! The outfit looks very fresh and Summery!
I would wear this in a heartbeat. Totally my style!
Love these colors on you, I didn’t see that dress at Sears and I was just in there the other day, hmmmmm
Love that dress! It looks amazing on you!
@Jessica–I hear ya! Generally you’re right, it’s usually less flattering to wear wide horizontal stripes, but maxi dresses like this one could offset the wideness because they are usually more elongating for us curvy girls. I would try it out, see how it looks, and return it if it doesn’t work!
