The amazing and smiley Sarah Pollack of SimplyStylist.com is this week’s guest blogger! To put it “simply” (funny?), SimplyStylist is the kind of resource I wish I had known about before entering this industrty. The site is all about connecting fashion experts to consumers who are interested in exploring the world of style. Sarah, herself, organizes large-scale fashion events in New York and LA, where fashionistas like you and me can learn from a panel of editors, celebrity stylists, and fashion tv personalities. If you’re in New York or planning on going for Fashion Week, you should head to the Simply Stylist event on September 9th. She’s partnering up with Marie Claire magazine and it’s a great way to mingle with the creme de la creme in the fashion world. Also, there are rumors of a killer gift bag. Just sayin…
Anyway, on to the outfit. You may remember this dress from Jordan’s engagement dress post. If you don’t remember, it’s probably because the dress is being worn in a totally new and different way! Love when that happens. By “simply” pairing the black dress with bright yellow pumps, the look completely changes. What was once an option for an engagement party has now become an ensemble to wear for a night out with the girls.
