60s SOCCER MOM CHIC

When Kate first entered the PC styling studio, she claimed jeans were not “her thing” and that she looked best in dresses and skirts. I appeased her for the first two looks and at the very end said “just trust me!”. I think the dark wash jeans are slenderizing and show off her toned stems! We chose a bright pink blouse to go with it because it compliments the color for her skin tone, which has pink hues in it.

I’m sure you’re wondering about the headband since it’s not something you see everyday on Penny Chic… Well, it was originally a handkerchief attached to the tote, but we ripped right it off and tried something a little different. No need for any jewelry here since the hair does all the talking.

Are you a jeans girl or a dress girl? I must confess I often shy away from jeans myself.

Kate and Beau (yesterday’s model) are cousins and best friends! Love these girls.

  1. Kate looks lovely in this top and jeans. They are very slimming on her. Love it! Great use of color to go w/the model.

  2. YAY fluffy girl Kate looks lovely as usual. There is nothing I love more than a bright top & datk bottoms and the scarf add so much to this outfit.

  3. Beautiful use of colour to suit the model. The lovely scarf also works if “soccer mom” hasn’t had time for a roots touch-up yet, too. The trick is to wear one when the hair is perfect just to throw people off – so they don’t think “touch-up time” everytime you wear a scarf.

  4. I’m in Europe right now and I have to say that everything you have been showing on your site is so on point with what’s being shown in all the shops here. Awesome!
