PARALEGAL CHIC

For those of you who work long hours (ahem, paralegals, attorneys, or anyone in finance), you probably don’t have time to go home and change before meeting friends for cocktails or dinner. It’s always good to have a couple set outfits that can make it through to your evening activity. I think this ensemble perfectly demonstrates how to achieve one of these looks. It’s relatively conservative with a touch of edge (see ankle boots, embellished top, and pencil skirt). The cardigan can be taken off and voila…there’s a little more skin exposed and the formfitting skirt is more apparent.

Shout out to you women out there KILLING IT at work and putting in long hours!! I applaud you…It ain’t easy!

  1. Love this! You pretty much nailed it. This is exactly what you’re allowed to wear in a law firm, filing motions in court, client meetings, and at hearings!

  2. i like this outfit but can you please please please start showing more shoe variety? I think these boots are sort of tacky.

  3. I personally love the shoes and don’t mind seeing them again. I can’t go out each time a new shoe is shown and purchase a new pair. Realistically, I wear the same shoes with different outfits because I cannot afford a separate pair for each thing I wear. And if there is a pair of shoes I see in a post I wouldn’t buy, then I just look for something I do like and wear that instead. Not rocket science for me.

  4. Beautiful, classy looking work outfit with a bit of “zip.” I was in banking and that would be a perfect outfit, except we had to wear hose (kind of a weird rule, but I guess it looks more professional). We would ditch the hose if we were headed out anywhere after unless they were interesting (sparkly, tiny fishnet, or back seaming detail.)
