MOD CHIC

My favorite era in the history of fashion has to be the early 1960s mod period where women would wear printed shift dresses, platforms, and their hair up in a beehive (which as you know, I’m obsessed with!). I tried to encorporate all of these things in the outfit, plus a pair of sunglasses to add some glam to the look!

What’s your favorite fashion moment? Once you nail down what it is, try and encorporate it somehow into the way you dress. If it happens to be 17th century fashion, you don’t have to run to the costume store, but next time you’re out shopping, look for either ornate corseted tops that you can pair with a bottom or perhaps a flared embroidered skirt. These things can be found at second hand stores and usually don’t cost much. I go to my favorite vintage stores to find my paisley printed 60s dresses, but it’s always nice when you can find one brand new that’s affordable and doesn’t smell!
