HOT AND HUMID CHIC

All I’ve been hearing from my east coast friends this past week is how hot and humid it is on the other coast…so this one’s for all of you who are suffering in boiling and humid climates!

I featured this romper on Friday as a cheap alternative to a Madewell romper I found for $88. I personally don’t wear rompers because it doesn’t really work for the proportions of my body. The top part is always too loose for me and the bottoms are too tight. Aside from that, a romper is the most heat-proof trend that exists so wear it if you’re trying to keep cool and stay chic!

  1. You’re right, this is a perfect outfit for keeping cool. Loose, lightweight and airy. I like this kind of stuff when it gets too hot because it’s easy to wear. The color on this one is nice!

  4. Shauna, what’s your take on rompers being worn by curvier women? Right now, I’m about a size 8-10 in the waist, but I’ve also been blessed with a large chest ;) Would a romper such as the one above make me look disproportionate? I’m around 5-5’1 ft tall as well…would that make any difference?
