FAUX OSCAR DE LA RENTA CHIC
This is the same Kamali dress I wore in “Superbowl Wife Chic”, only it’s in black. It’s been 6 weeks and the dress is still being sold online in three different colors. This time around I opted to remove the belt and tie a leopard scarf around the waist. In person, it really looks like it’s part of the dress. My mom (who photographed me) was shocked to learn that it wasn’t made that way from the beginning.
I could imagine Oscar de la Renta designing a look like this for a more casual collection. This is a cut that Oscar popularized and continues to design season after season. He’s also fond of animal prints, but in a feminine way, rather than a raunchy way.
What occasion do you think this outfit is appropriate for (besides a funeral)?

I think with bright tights, the dress would really pop! But I love the whole look.
