CUTE AS A BUTTON CHIC
Yesterday was the first time I missed a post entirely on a weekday. I’m feeling guilty about it but I hope this post makes up for it!
If you look at the outfit closely, you’ll see that the shirt is actually a bathing suit. I know a lot of you ladies aren’t comfortable wearing bathing suits as leotards, but I had it leftover from the summer and never used it so tried to recycle it here and see what it would look like. We could have gone a more conventional route and used a white t-shirt, but I wanted to add an element of color and spunk to the outfit.

I think it works so well! I really love this outfit: the necklace, jacket, boots–it all looks great! I’m not sure a bathing suit would work the best for me but it looks great on her and I would just wear a camisole under that jacket.
Its funny…I bought almost EXACTLY the same boots at DSW a year ago…for a little more than twice what you paid. Love those boots though…
I love, love, love the colors in the bathing suit. I would never think to use it as a top, but it looks fantastic.

Where is the jacket from? Adorable!
This looks great together and never comes untucked when you bend or sit down. If you have TB (tiny bladder) you might want to make it a tankini, haha. Good work Shauna!

The print of the bathing suit is gorgeous however I the boots are a little dated don’t you think??? Surely a pair of wedges would’ve been better suited…..
Great!!! I love it. I wore a bathing suit like that before, but I didn’t tell anyone. Nobody noticed it was a bathing suit anyway. If it works for you, wear it. Love that fact that you are being very unique. The jacket it great, but I’m not sure about the buttons on it. It seems like there’s a lot going on at top. The buttons take away from the necklace. I make jewelry, so I always make sure my necklaces and earrings get the spotlight they deserve.
