COMFORTABLE YET CHIC
The Norma Kamali line at Walmart is sadly OVER except for the scarce supply of items online right now. I guess it was less successful at Walmart than they had wished. Why do you think that is? There is some good news though…. This dress is $6 online right now. Can you say clearance?
I went back and forth with the belt on this outfit. It looked just fine without it, but ultimately I felt like it needed something to break up the monotony. The wooden bangles were an obvious choice to compliment the brown belt and add some texture. The dress is extremely soft and easy to wear. If you’re concerned that it’s too short or not warm enough, put it over leggings and call it a day!

FYI the line was VERY successful. NK only had a 3 year contract and she is now on to other online ventures of her own.

I wish you lived in Australia!!!! i would have gone out today and bought it. do you have any contacts in Aus. that do what you do? kmart, target and Big W have inexpensive clothes but i dont have the knack for putting it all together!

I bought this dress two weeks ago, after being so seduced by the Faded Glory Rhonda scrunchy boots from one of your looks, I HAD TO HAVE THEM. Though I am quite skeptical of Walmart’s quality, the boots are fantastic in fit, comfort and looks. The dress was an afterthought because it’s on clearance, but I’ve been wearing it with black leggings and a hoodie, and LOVE IT. I will now have to copy the styling with the belt as well.
Ani–I know aren’t those scrunchy boots great!! I like the idea of the dress with black opaque tights. I’ll have to try that. Hope you like it with the belt. xoxo
