So… Target offered me a challenge to style an outfit inspired by their new “Color Changes Everything” commercial (see at bottom) for under $150. As usual, I decided to take it one step farther and style TWO outfits for approx. $100 each. Now it’s your turn! One lucky reader will get the chance to style her own COLORful Spring ensemble with a free $150 gift card. Here’s how you can win:

These outfits make me want to try out some of the awesome colored vibrant pieces available this Spring! Let’s see — for the first outfit, I would call it Electric Blue Peekaboo (with reference to the trench covering the cute belt). The second one I would wear to work, and call my Can’t ignore me today – Power Play outfit.

Love the colors and I am always checking this site for ideas to put things together. I am a little afraid of so much color as I am older and larger than you so I don’t want wear it in the worst possible way! Look#1 Alouette chic , a nod to the French song Target is using for this in their commercials. An Alouette is a Lark in English and I think you look awesome like you are having a lark of a time!:-)
Look#2 Rosa Fuerta Chic, today my daughter wore hot pink shoes and one of her teachers commented Ay Rosa Fuerta! In english its literally strong or hot pink. I feel the same about that skirt! Caliente!!!
