ART CAMP COUNSELOR CHIC

Sometimes it’s hard to pull off that funky look on a curvier frame, but this outfit on Eslee does it really well. The key is accentuating the asset on your body (we all have at least 1!) and in this case it’s Eslee’s legs. The dress we chose is both empire waist (which is usually flattering) and it comes above the knees so it was a good choice. You can use a denim shirt like this one as a light jacket if you don’t feel 100% comfortable with your arms. The fushcia colored belt makes the whole outfit. It highlights the waist even more, adds a pop of color, and tops off the funkiness of the ensemble.

The components of the outfit have been all been used in prior outfits. Can you find the posts they were used in?

  1. Great outfit! I actually bought this dress in this color after you posted the black and white one, which was what I wanted but couldn’t find, but I like this color too!

  2. Awesome. I was secretly wanting you to remix old pieces for new looks. Since, that is realistically what most people will have to do with the clothes they do have. This one looks REALLY great. I love how the sort of muted blue in the shirt and the gray shoes tones it down, at the same time, I like how you have contrast with the bright colors. Well done!

  3. The items are NEVER available when I do see something interesting or it’s in very limited sizes… like this outfit, the description says something about a curvier frame but it’s a junior size dress and only available in size small and medium…um, yeah, not too many curvy people in those sizes!!!
