After many requests, I thought it was about time I dedicate a post to accessories that can create an accent to your outfit. It’s unfortunate that you can’t buy this stuff online, but I’d just like to point out that accessorizing is key to making an outfit look chic when you have limited funds. And it doesn’t have to cost a lot! Most discount department stores have a full wall dedicated to costume jewelry. Take a trip there and see what you can find!

This airplane necklace and stud set was such a pleasant surprise to come across at Walmart. The price is unbeatable and it reminds me of jewelry I’ve seen at some high end boutiques lately that have tried to incorporate some humor into jewelry. Would you wear an airplane around your neck? I know it’s a little out there, but I think it’s fun and different.
