PENNY VS. PRICEY: TANGERINE
Tangerine-colored pieces (not the edible kind!) are all the rage for Spring and Summer. I’m a fan of all bright colors, but I’m not about to spend a fortune on a neon orange skirt that I can only wear a couple times! We spotted 4 tangerine chic items that are WAY cuter (in our humble opinion) and WAY more affordable than their designer twins. Wouldn’t you agree?
Shop the Look:
1. Xhilaration Crossbody Bag $14.99 (Target)
2. Old Navy Pleated Dress $29.94
3. Worthington Patent Peep Toe Pumps $30 (JCPenney)
4. Sofia Vergara Maxi Skirt $29.99 (Kmart)

Wow – I genuinely like all of your picks better than the more expensive items!
I agree cheap things are also good.
Been a tangerine/orange fan for a while. I am wearing it today with my orange & tan top, tan pants & orange handbag. I love it BRIGHT!
Like the Sofia Vergara Maxi Skirt much better than the pricier one:) I’m glad to see this color gaining popularity. I wear mine with turquoise accessories.
I know you’d love an orange handbag! These look great.
I want that Old Navy dress. So cute!
I love how I actually do prefer the cheaper ones than the designer cause they seem more of what a normal woman would wear rather than some perfectly skinny and tall model!
Love the blog!
I’m sorry, but is there no respect for real craftsmanship in fashion? If you look at each on of the expensive picks here, they obviously have a more well-rounded vision of comfort and adherence to their own vision of these styles. If you want a more sterotypical, not-wrought-out version, yes, there is that for 1/5th of the price.
Ditto w/the posts above. Great color for spring time and the prices are very reasonoable.
Excellent finds!
