Yesterday, I was interviewed in a Huffington Post article by LA editor Sasha Bronner, where I got to talk about my entrepreneurial journey and how I manifested my dreams into reality. If you’re interested in the story behind Penny Chic and how I turned it into a business, I urge you to read the piece and comment below with your feedback! This one’s particularly special to me because I got to go a little deeper. If nothing else, check out the cool slideshow of photos in the bottom of the piece!

  2. Congrats on your success! I really enjoyed the article. I especially appreciate that you turned your thoughts into reality. Most individuals are afraid to take the plunge, and bring their dreams into reality. I look forward to your upcoming clothing line and business ventures.

  6. Shauna, by the smile on your face, I would say success looks good on you. I have been following your blog for several years after I googled WalMart & Normal Kamali (miss her line BTW.) You have definitely made me view the affordable clothing at Walmart in a different light. Sometimes your style is a little too young for me, but I appreciate your young style, if only for my teenagers. Good luck with your book and new line at Walmart. Can’t Wait!!

  8. Congratulations on being featured in The Huffington Post! I loved reading the article, but one of my favorite parts of the article was this response that you gave:

“Style: A woman can look amazing at any price point if she’s a smart shopper and not afraid to put her personal stamp on what she wears. At the end of the day, it’s all about “owning it.”

I like how you have taught us and even designers in the fashion industry, that mass retailers have stylish options to offer (w/o breaking the bank) if you are willing to give it a shot and look around. As always, congratulations on everything and I wish you much luck in your upcoming endeavors!
