Jason Wu is a Taiwanese-American fashion designer whose career launched after Michelle Obama sported one of his frocks at the inaugural balls. He will be the next designer collaboration at Target due to hit stores Feb 5 (superbowl day!). Hopefully things will run more smoothly than they did with the Missoni for Target collection where the site crashed and things ran out within seconds of going on sale. Here’s the qurky ‘n cute commercial for the line:

What do you think of the collection?

  1. Love it! The designs are clean, classic and super feminine. I’m anxious to see the fit of them!!!!

  2. Cute, love the silhouettes and little details — although some borders just slightly on boring. My fav is the write dress w/ little black crinoline peeking out. And I love the bags (such cute hardware!) and little wristlet/clutches. …But ultimately I don’t want to get my hopes up after the Missoni launch!

  3. a lot of the missoni for target stuff ends up in goodwill. if you go to shopgoodwill.org you will find A LOT of them. target sells its overstocks to goodwill. kinda makes you wonder about those who bought their missoni stuff at ebay for 3x the price….
